Hospice of Santa Barbara's Disaster & Emergency Services

For over 50 years Hospice of Santa Barbara (HSB) has lent a gentle & compassionate hand during times of need, helping individuals and the community at large. When personal or community disaster strikes, HSB provides grief counseling, support groups, spiritual care, and care management - completely free of charge.

Following tragedies such as an alarming spate of suicides in local schools, the Thomas Fire and Debris Flow, COVID support, the Goleta Postal Shooting, Isla Vista shooting, and other shocks to the community, HSB is there to help those impacted who are struggling with grief and despair as well as our first responders.
